Plugin as demonstrated in the Customizing Simple GIS Client Tutorial that reports the acreage of selected features as a user clicks on them from the current Simple GIS Client Map Data View document. Simply download plugin file, save it to a folder of your choice and add this plugin to any Simple GIS Client project you wish.
SimpleUSA Project & Dataset
SimpleUSA Project & Dataset is a comprehensive data set of US state boundaries, cities, roadways, waterways, and more including a full geocoding and street routing database, available for free download below. The SimpleUSA project is a free project to use with the Simple GIS Client application. The dataset is in shapefile format and contains a national Geocode database based upon Tiger data from the US Census Bureau. It also includes a national street routing database. Our plan is update this dataset annually. Note: This is a large dataset (4 GB Compressed download) requiring approximately 20 GB of free disk space for installation. You also must have SimpleGISClient installed to use the SimpleUSA project.
